Real Estate buyers need to be preparedCategory: Real Estate News | Permalink Published: Friday, November 20, 2009 Real Estate buyers need to be prepared! In this tough Murrieta, Temecula market, buyers of residential real estate need to have their ducks in line. As we all might believe that this is a buyers market in this tough economy, sellers in the Inland Empire have a big say so in who purchases their property. Sellers are scrutinizing buyers because of so many escrows falling through due to the buyer’s inability to perform. Sellers, especially here in the Temecula Valley, want to know if you are an investor, first time homebuyer, or going to be a primary residence of your new home. They want to know how much equity you are committing to your new purchase so they get a good feel as to whether to commit to you or not in an escrow. As a buyer you have to have strong qualifications for purchasing a residential home including a seasoned bank account reflecting sufficient funds to close, good FICO scores from all three credit bureaus, and a pre-qualification approval letter from a direct lender of a major bank institution. This means full disclosure of your employment status and asset verification to your loan officer of your preferred bank. Your employment status is a very important factor, as it needs to be in the same field of work for at least two consecutive years to show consistency. The banks want to really secure their investment to buyers, which in my opinion, helps buyers secure their home purchase long term. So get your information ready and be prepared to use your buying power to get your "deal" in the Temecula Valley, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, and Menifee. There are great deals to be had!
